Diseases and pests of peaches
Peaches are often attacked by leaf curl. A symptom of this disease is a strong distortion (curl) leaves, which also turn red. This disease is combated with Syllit – 0,5%, applied shortly before bud break, and Cresotol 1%.
In case of scab, peach trees are sprayed immediately after flowering with suspension captan 50(0,2%).
Peach-potato aphid and peach-reed aphid and peach spotted aphid may occur on peaches. In the case of numerous occurrences of these pests, spraying with preparations is used: Bactospeine Garden (0,5%), Basudin 24 EC (0,1%), pyrimor 50 DP (0,05%).
