Replacing the glass in the lead frame
The glass in the skylights with lead frames is held by strips of lead soldered in the corners. Make a template for irregular glasses and ask the glazier to trim them. Wanting to remove the glass, cut the joints and bend the strips of lead. After cleaning the metal and putting on a new quick one, bend the lead strips back and solder the connectors.
